Rules for Couple Contest (Closed)

Okay, so I know I promised you guys a few weeks ago that I would get the rules to you, so here they are! This is our group's very first contest, so it's going to naturally be extremely simple, but I'm still hoping that people will want to get involved. The prizes will be small, but that's to be expected; the most we'd be able to award somebody is a couple dozen points and maybe not even that. It's kind of depressing, but it's the most we can do. In my oppinion, the prizes don't really matter, but that's an oppinion and nothing else. Somebody else may think a totally different thing.

Anyways, here are the rules:

1. Keep it simple. I want photography; not photomanipulation. Small photos manips will be accepted, but that's not the point of this group. It's a photography contest; I want people to submit photography.

2. No nudity or sex pictures. Sorry. The rules of the group also apply here as well. I know it's depressing, but it's the rules. I want cute couple pictures; not nasty, dirty, disgusting nudes (not that they AREN'T interesting ). Kissing and hand holding will be allowed.

3. You can submit as many pictures as you want. There will be a special folder in our gallery designed for this contest's photos; submit as many cute couple pictures as you want. After the deadline, my admins and I will sort through the photos and pick out the very best - everyone will at least have one photo submitted into the next voting.

4. No flaming other people's pictures.

5. You must be a member of this group to participate in this contest; the same goes for voting.

6. You can not vote for yourself. You can advertise this contest and tell people to join this group to vote, but you can not openly ask people to vote for you.  An example of this would be writing a journal asking people to vote for you and you only. That's just not fair. You, however, will be able to secretly tell people to vote for you, because, of course, I have no control over that.

7. The pictures do not have to be specifically made for this contest. They can be old or new photos.

8. Be creative! The point of this contest is to make people feel; love is in the air and I want people to express that through their photography. XD

9. Oh, and by the way, this group allows LGBT material, so you guys can submit gay couples  aswell. <3 Spread the love.
Information:

1. Submit as many couple photos as you like to the designated folder; please make sure they folllow the guidelines.

2. As I've already told you, after the deadline, my admins and I will search through the pictures and pick out the very best ones. I promise everyone will at least have one picture put into the next stage of voting. Then, I will make a journal containing the pictures, where everyone in the group will have the chance to vote for the best (to vote all you'd have to do is leave a comment).  The top five voted pictures will have the chance to be promoted to the next voting, where people will again be permitted to vote for the best; there will also be a second and third place winner.

3. We haven't yet decided on prizes. I know that they won't be extremely appetizing - unless someone wants to help us out on the prizes? They're going to be small. If prizes matter to you, then this contest is not for you.

Deadline:

Febuary 14, 2013. We want to give people the chance to submit their photos; besides, Valentine's Day seems to be the perfect deadline for this contest.
